Hours after election, Beutler dives in
His campaign office was still buzzing with staffers Wednesday, but the sign on the wall no longer counted the number of days until the election. Instead, it said, “12 days” until Beutler is sworn in as mayor.

“I’m just extremely gratified that the people have given me this opportunity and boy I plan to make the most of it. I plan to work very hard for the people. I plan to get up in the morning and begin immediately addressing things.”
